Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – The G7 meeting of interior ministers in the Rheingau on Friday morning again caused problems in Wiesbaden’s city traffic. Longer traffic jams had already formed on Thursday, especially during rush hour, as the Wiesbaden police announced on Friday.

The reason for this was, on the one hand, road closures for the transport of the ministers. But construction sites and accidents as well as general commuter traffic would have further tensed the situation on the roads. Overall, backlogs formed in the area of ??Bibricher Allee, B455 and the A66. According to the police, the traffic situation on Friday was much more relaxed. The situation was relieved by shorter closures.
