Limburg/Hadamar (dpa/lhe) – In the trial of a murder with a hedge trimmer, the Limburg district court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment. According to a spokesman, the 35-year-old German acted for low motives, the judges justified Friday’s verdict. With their guilty verdict, they followed the request of the public prosecutor. The defense had asked for eight years in prison.
In September in Hadamar in the Limburg-Weilburg district, the 35-year-old hit a man who was dependent on a walker with electric hedge trimmers, among other things, until he bled to death on the floor of his kitchen. The victim had previously testified against the 35-year-old in an investigation into dangerous bodily harm.
