Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – For many reasons, the Hessian retail trade is going into the important Christmas business with mixed feelings. The Hesse Trade Association cites poor consumer sentiment, rising energy costs and the aftermath of the corona pandemic as defining influences for the current financial year. Today the association wants to report in Frankfurt on the mood and economic expectations of its members. Among other things, the expected budget of the customers and which products will be particularly in demand despite inflation and concerns about the future will be discussed.
