Neuhof (dpa/lhe) – A truck driver apparently underestimated the height of a tunnel near Neuhof on Autobahn 66: because the 41-year-old man’s heavy-duty transporter was loaded too high, according to police reports, he tore several lamps in the tunnel ceiling on Wednesday evening from their anchorage. Live cables were also uncovered, the police said on Thursday. Four other trucks were damaged by the fallen or hanging lamps. The police estimate the total damage at 11,000 euros.
