Offenbach (dpa / lhe) – The weekend in Hesse will remain dry for the most part. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), heavy rain of around 15 liters per square meter per hour is still possible locally on Saturday night. There could also be a few thunderstorms. However, Friday will remain mostly rain-free and cloudy with temperatures between 25 and 29 degrees and around 23 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Saturday, the last few showers will move east. After that, the DWD expects a change of sun and clouds. It gets up to 27 degrees warm – at high altitudes it gets around 22 degrees. The night to Sunday will then remain free of precipitation and the DWD foresees almost no rain on Sunday either.
