Gorxheimertal (dpa/lhe) – A motorcyclist died in an accident with his machine in Gorxheimertal. According to the first findings of the investigators, the 30-year-old was on Friday afternoon on the district road from Gorxheim in the direction of Buchklingen, as the police announced in the evening. A short time later, the man was reportedly lying on an embankment next to the road with serious injuries. He died at the accident site in the Bergstraße district. Local residents had previously heard a noise and had become aware of the accident, it was said. The county road was closed for several hours while the accident was being investigated. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
