Melsungen (dpa/lhe) – Handball Bundesliga team MT Melsungen has reacted to the ongoing injury misery and, contrary to the original plan, is going into the new season with defense specialist Gleb Kalarasch. The North Hesse have extended the contract with the 31-year-old Russian until December 31 of this year, which expires at the end of the season. Kalarasch came at the end of October 2021 as a replacement for the long-term injured defender Finn Lemke from league rival HBW Balingen-Weilstetten.
