Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) – The police draw a positive balance after the Frankfurt carnival parade on Sunday. Apart from a few incidents, the event with a total of around 400,000 spectators was peaceful, the police said on Monday. The officials had initiated five criminal proceedings, issued four evictions and provisionally arrested a total of three people. After the event, there was an argument in which six people were injured by irritants – a suspect was caught. Before the move, 70 vehicles were towed away because they were parked on the move route despite appropriate notices.
