Berlin (dpa/lhe) – Kronberg Academy has been honored with the young talent award of the renowned Praemium Imperiale. The award was presented in Berlin on Thursday. The academy, based in the Taunus, offers exceptionally talented young musicians and soloists from all over the world top-class additional training, according to a statement by the Japan Art Association. The Praemium Imperiale is awarded annually. This year’s winners include director Wim Wenders, artist Ai Weiwei, painter Giulio Paolini, pianist Krystian Zimerman and the Japanese architecture firm SANAA. Unlike the Young Talent Award, your awards will not be presented until October in Tokyo.
