Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) – The district court in Wiesbaden has sentenced a drunkard to three years and three months in prison. According to the court, the 60-year-old stayed in a luxury hotel in the city center for more than two years and left an open bill of almost 240,000 euros, as a spokeswoman for the court said on Thursday.

The fraudster owed the five-star hotel 145,000 euros for overnight stays alone. There was also around 93,000 euros for food and drinks. He only paid small amounts in between. In addition, the Zechpreller lived for four months in another hotel in the state capital, where he left an open bill of 1,600 euros.

Particularly spicy: According to the information, the noble luxury hotel even granted the 60-year-old special conditions. The judge reported that he was allowed to stay overnight free of charge on Saturdays and Sundays. The verdict against the man is not yet final.
