Kriftel (dpa/lhe) – Two people were injured in a head-on collision between two cars on a country road near Kriftel (Main-Taunus-Kreis). A 45-year-old drove her car into the oncoming lane on Monday evening for unexplained reasons and crashed into the car of a 49-year-old man, the police said. Both were trapped in their cars and freed by the fire department. There is no danger to life. According to the police, a blood sample was taken from the woman because there were signs of alcohol consumption. The highway was closed for about three hours.
