Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – The CDU politician Eva Kühne-Hörmann, who is no longer included in the new Hessian government, is, in her own words, “not happy, but relaxed”. “Yes, I would have liked to have continued,” said the former Minister of Justice on HR television on Tuesday. Of course, a new prime minister has the chance to put his team together.

“That’s acceptable,” she said. “And that’s no problem for me to accept that, even if I personally would have wished it differently.” She regrets the decision, but will support the new Prime Minister Boris Rhein. She wishes him all the best and a lucky hand.

Rhein appointed the previous President of the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court and the State Court of Justice, Roman Poseck, as the new Minister of Justice. Kühne-Hörmann had been a minister in Hesse since 2009.
