There is nothing left for the first Grand Slam of the year to begin: the Australian Open 2024. Rafa Nadal will not be there, but Carlos Alcaraz will be.
Before the big event begins, the Murcian tennis player will play two exhibition matches. In the first of them, he will face the Australian Álex de Minaur this Wednesday, January 10, starting at 8:30 in the morning, Spanish time.
They have already met twice and both opted in favor of the Spaniard. The last of them took place in the 2023 Queen’s final, which marked his first title on grass.
Regarding the ranking, Alcaraz is number two, while De Minaur is ten in the world.
After this first match, the one from El Palmar will play against Casper Ruud on Friday.
The match between Alcaraz and Álex de Miñaur can be followed through the Eurosport APP. It will be played at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and, as already indicated, will begin at 8:30, Spanish time, this Wednesday.
