Boris Becker will work again for the TV channel Eurosport at the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. According to a report in the “Bild” newspaper, the former tennis star will comment on the top game of the day at the Australian Open from January 16th to 29th and analyze the two most important games in the “Matchball Becker” program. The 55-year-old had already worked as an expert for the TV station before starting his prison sentence in Great Britain.

Becker was last at Eurosport a year ago at the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. However, Becker will not be in Australia, but will be commenting on the tournament from the studio in Munich.

During his time in prison, Becker was represented at Eurosport by Mischa Zverev, the brother of Olympic tennis champion Alexander Zverev. At the end of April, Becker was sentenced to two and a half years in prison by a court in London because he had not properly declared parts of his assets in his bankruptcy proceedings. He was released in mid-December after 231 days behind bars.
