Angele Hug, who won a bronze medal for her team on Tuesday, confirmed her form in the Ivrea Basin (Italy) for the U23 World Championships.

The Ardechoise was engaged in kayaking and signed the fifth time of the qualifications on Wednesday morning. She finished fourth behind Eliska Mintalova, who scored 81.00 and had a final score 85.19.

This performance earned her a ticket to the semi-finals on Friday morning. To be eligible for the grand final, you will need to place in one of the top ten spots and aim to win a medal.

Recall that Angele Hug set the fastest time last year before she was penalized. She finished in fourth place in the standings.
