“There are times when you do not feel or get up from bed and I can not afford that … I’m going to leave.”
These have been the last words that Kiko Hernández, collaborator of Sálvame (Telecinco), has pronounced on Wednesday afternoon before getting up from the chair and leaving the set of the TV factory.
Soon before, the Madrid had been blunt: “I want to disappear.”
The collapse of Kiko Hernández, as the collaborator explained to Jorge Javier Vázquez, is due to the recent death of his friend Begoña Sierra, founder of Bingo Las Vegas and “a second mother” for him, as he has recognized.
This loss is added to the death of Mila Ximénez and that of a relative.
“I’m taking a year now, Jorge … I can not anymore, I get a duel with the other and there is a moment in which you already buckle”.
Hernandez confessed that Monday was taken “I do not know how many lexatins” to face what happened.
“I’m not used to death and so many people die is terrible,” he added.
“For my mental health I need to stop, it can not be. Yesterday I had rare ideas in my head and I need to stop,” the collaborator continued.
It is a temporary march- “to breathe and make a process that I have not done with Mila or with my family member or begoña” -And has allowed to entertain that the save me from him could occur in one or two weeks.
For his part, Jorge Javier Vázquez, who considers that the decision to stop from Kiko Hernández is not the most successful, recalled that all those involved in ‘Sálvame’ have gone by circumstances similar to those of Kiko Hernández.
And he has concluded: “I think it is the hardest stage we are going on in this program with the latest events.”
