The Civil Guard has arrested one of the men entrenched this morning in a flat on Avenida de Barraña, in the town of Boiro in A Coruña, after allegedly assaulting his partner.

According to sources consulted by Europa Press, the two men voluntarily left the property after more than six hours of negotiations with the Civil Guard agents.

Thus, the alleged attacker was arrested as he left the house, while his brother, who remained entrenched with him, was released as there were no charges.

The events occurred this morning, when an altercation apparently took place in this building that ended with a confrontation between the two men, who are brothers, and the partner of one of them.

She was able to leave the building after allegedly being attacked by her partner, while the men barricaded themselves in the building throughout the morning until they turned themselves in around 2:30 p.m.
