Schwerin (dpa/mv) – The Mecklenburg-Western Pomeranian Film Fund distributed more than 1.7 million euros to the industry this year. In three funding rounds, a jury granted aid for the production of films, the development of materials, but also for distribution and playback, as can be seen from information from the MV film funding agency on Wednesday, among other things. The projects funded in 2022 include the NDR series “Retoure”, a documentary by Anne Andersen about the Griese area near Ludwigslust and the family comedy “Akiko, the flying monkey” shot in Rostock and Schwerin with well-known actors such as Meret Becker, Benno Fürmann and Heike Makatsch.
