Upahl (dpa/mv) – In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, unknown persons tried to break into the building of the network operator Edis in Upahl, Mecklenburg (Northwest Mecklenburg district). The police in Rostock said on Friday that parts of the fence and surveillance technology had been damaged.
When asked, the Bureau said there was no evidence of a connection to the controversial construction of the refugee accommodation for 400 people in the area. As it was also said, the criminal police is investigating and is hoping for information from the population.
