Pasewalk (dpa/mv) – Burglars stole large amounts of non-ferrous metal in Pasewalk (West Pomerania-Greifswald). As a spokesman for the federal police said on Monday, the damage is estimated at more than 100,000 euros. At the weekend, almost four kilometers of copper contact wire were stolen from the Pasewalk traction power station alone. The valuable traction power line was on three cable drums. A total of six cable drums with contact wire and other components of the traction current network were stolen from a workshop during the burglary reported on Monday. The perpetrators used a wheel loader from the company and even opened the roller doors to load the loot.
