Rostock (dpa/mv) – Second division soccer team FC Hansa Rostock has been sentenced to a fine of 19,200 euros by the sports court of the German Football Association (DFB). This punished the unsportsmanlike behavior of Hansa fans during the away game at Hamburger SV. On July 24, Rostock spectators detonated at least 29 pyrotechnic objects in the Volksparkstadion. 6400 euros of the fine can be used for security or infrastructure measures. The club has approved the verdict, which is now legally binding.
