Malk Göhren (dpa / mv) – A hall full of straw and hay bales burned brightly in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district on Sunday night. When the police officers arrived, the former cowshed in Malk-Göhren near Eldena was already fully engulfed in flames, the police said. 200 straw and hay bales were stored there. Since the warehouse could obviously no longer be saved, the fire brigade decided to let the building burn down in a controlled manner. The fire watch is expected to last until Sunday noon. The property damage is estimated at around 25,000 euros. Police are investigating possible arson.
