Bentzin (dpa / mv) – An intoxicated 30-year-old used his ex-girlfriend’s car without authorization and caused an accident on the B110 near the village of Bentzin (Vorpommern-Greifswald district). Nobody was injured in the accident on Friday evening, the police said on Saturday. The driver left the roadway and hit a tree. A breath test revealed the information after 1.99 per thousand alcohol. The police also found that the man did not have a valid driver’s license with him. The 30-year-old is now being investigated for endangering road traffic, driving without a license and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Police estimate the damage at around $5,000.
