Schwerin (dpa / mv) – The Minister of Education in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has called on vocational and technical students to apply for the federal energy price flat rate. “You can already take a few steps to get the one-time payment faster later,” said Simone Oldenburg (left) on Wednesday in Schwerin.
In order to receive the one-off payment of 200 euros, the 9,700 eligible students in the state, according to Oldenburg, must first authenticate themselves. This is possible via a BundID account or a combination of access code and pin provided by the schools. The official start of the application process is scheduled for March 15th.
“Coordination between the federal states and the federal government was not always easy and took a long time. I am glad that we have finally been able to create the conditions for payment,” said the Minister of Education.
