Wittenburg (dpa / mv) – On the Autobahn 24 near Wittenburg, a 38-year-old drove his car into a truck. According to a blood test, the driver was under the influence of cocaine, did not have a driver’s license and had crashed into the truck in front when he tried to overtake. The man gave microsleep as the reason for the collision.
The police suspect that the truck did not notice the collision and continued its journey towards Hamburg. A mobile home that drove over debris on the road was reportedly undamaged. The police are now investigating both because of endangering road traffic and driving without a license. In addition, the man initially gave false information about himself.
