Tribsees (dpa/mv) – As announced, the A20 near Tribsees, which collapsed five years ago, was closed again in both directions for the renovation on Wednesday morning. The closure is initially scheduled to last until 6 p.m., said a spokeswoman for the federal Autobahn GmbH on Wednesday. If necessary, it can also be canceled earlier.
According to earlier information, a tower crane will be dismantled to the east of the Trebeltal Bridge and rebuilt to the west of it. During the full closure, traffic will be diverted via state roads 19 and 23 between the Tribsees and Bad Sülze junctions. Disabilities there must be expected.
Due to the work to repair the damage caused in 2017, the A20 near Tribsees is blocked again and again. The work should be completed in 2024.
