Rastow (dpa / mv) – Attentive workers prevented the theft of a van with a trailer from a construction site in Rastow (Ludwigslust-Parchim district). As the police announced on Thursday, a 63-year-old gained access to the driver’s cab and started the vehicle thanks to the ignition key. Because the handbrake was on, the man could not drive off. The workers held the man, who was already known to the police for property crimes, until the officers arrived.
