Stralsund (dpa / mv) – The police in Stralsund are investigating a cyclist who has rammed a car in a roundabout. As a police spokesman said on Monday, the 29-year-old was drunk on Saturday evening and drove the wrong way around the roundabout in the old town. A 28-year-old driver noticed this and stopped at the roundabout. Nevertheless, the cyclist from Stralsund drove into the car, was thrown over the handlebars onto the hood and then onto the street. He was slightly injured. A breath alcohol test showed 2.1 per thousand, which is why a blood test was carried out in the clinic. The cyclist had to answer for endangering road traffic and almost 2000 euros in damage.
