Summer weather comes forward this Tuesday, in the final stretch of March, in areas of the northern peninsula with lots of sun and temperatures close to 30 degrees.

Most of the rest of Spain will have temperatures between 5 and 10 degrees higher than normal for this time of year and values ??more typical of May or June than of March, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

The Aemet prediction, collected by Servimedia, indicates that temperatures will rise throughout the peninsula except on the Mediterranean coast and western Andalusia, and the rise will be notable in areas of the interior of the northern half, with nine degrees more than this Monday in Bilbao and Vitoria; eight in Oviedo, Pamplona and San Sebastián; seven in Burgos; and six in Logroño, Palencia, Soria and Valladolid.

It will be hotter in Seville (30 degrees); Badajoz, Bilbao and Córdoba (28); Cádiz and Granada (27); and Ciudad Real, Jaén, Ourense, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Toledo (26); and less in Barcelona and Tarragona (18), and Castellón de la Plana (19).

The temperatures will be more typical of August in Bilbao (28), Oviedo (24) and San Sebastián (23); July in Cádiz (27) and Vitoria (23), and June in Santander (21).

On the other hand, the sun will shine in most of the country, with intervals of high clouds in the peninsula. Some cloudy intervals are also expected at the beginning of the day in the area of ??the Strait, Melilla, the Levantine coast and, with the possibility of some light and scattered rain with a tendency to subside, in Catalonia.

Finally, this Tuesday a southerly wind will blow in Galicia, the eastern Cantabrian Sea, and as the day progresses, in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands; from the east on the southern coasts of the peninsula, with intervals of strong easterly in the Strait, and moderate trade winds from the northeast in the Canary Islands.
