Easton City Council unanimously approved new job descriptions and raises for two administrative posts.

Council agreed to do away with the job of public works director and replace it with a deputy city administrator/director of public works.

The public works job paid $99,438 a year. The deputy city administrator will earn $102,421.

Dave Hopkins is the current public works director.

Council also signed off on a plan to replace the accounting and payroll supervisor with a deputy director of finance. The old job paid $69,588 a year. The new one pays $71,678.

Council also Deneme Bonusu agreed to eliminate a Clerk 1 job in the finance department. That job came with a $35,707-a-year salary.

The new jobs were approved with no discussion on Wednesday.
