Herne (dpa / lnw) – A bomb from the Second World War was defused in Herne on Tuesday evening. The city announced that all blocking measures had been lifted. Around 1,500 people had previously been evacuated in the vicinity of where the 250-kilogram bomb was found. The dud was discovered during a borehole detection Tuesday near a school and hospital.
