Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) – Two weeks after the brutal robbery of a pizza delivery boy in Düsseldorf, all three suspects are in custody. After a special unit overpowered a 21-year-old at a fast-food restaurant, the other two turned themselves in to the police, they reported on Wednesday.
The trio had lured the pizza delivery boy to a secluded parking lot and seriously injured him. The masked gangsters would have hit the 49-year-old in the head with a hammer and shot him with a pistol, the police had reported.
The robbers had fled with comparatively little booty, a low three-digit amount. A little later, the police discovered the getaway car, which contained, among other things, a crime plan. The suspects are 17, 19 and 21 years old. Two of the three suspects are said to have been involved in a similar attack on a taxi driver.
