Vreden (dpa / lnw) – The police are looking for a car robber in North Rhine-Westphalia. The man sat in a man’s car in a parking lot in Vreden on Reformation Day and indicated that he would like to be driven to a car dealership, the police in Borken said on Friday evening.

While driving, he suddenly held a cutter knife to the driver’s leg and asked to be driven to Ahaus Alstätte. There he asked the car owner to drive to a piece of forest – where he let him out and fled with his car.

The police are now looking for information about the perpetrator or his whereabouts. Since the man may be armed, she advised: “In any case, call the police and do not speak to the suspects!”
