Sprockhövel (dpa / lnw) – A country inn in Sprockhövel (Ennepe-Ruhr district) was largely destroyed in a building fire on Tuesday morning. The building was uninhabitable after the fire, a police spokeswoman said. Nobody got hurt. Fortunately, no one was in the house, the fire department said. The operation began shortly after five in the morning. The flames would have spread to the roof and there was a danger of collapse. After the violent fire, it will probably take a day or two before experts can enter the inn to investigate the cause of the fire, said the police spokeswoman.
