Würselen (dpa / lnw) – A fire broke out in the patient room of a hospital in Würselen near Aachen on Monday night. The fire brigade and station staff quickly brought the station’s patients to safety, the hospital announced on Monday. Four patients and six employees inhaled smoke. Those affected have minor symptoms. According to the hospital, a mattress caught fire in one room. The police in Aachen said that a technical defect could be ruled out as the cause of the fire. The investigations continued.
