Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) – According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the corona incidence in North Rhine-Westphalia was 362.1 on Friday. That was significantly lower than last Friday’s comparative reading of 536.7. Within 24 hours, 15,962 confirmed new cases and 45 deaths related to the corona virus were reported in NRW. The incidence was highest in the federal state in the Minden-Lübbecke district (523.8), lowest in the Olpe district (220.9). The city of Cologne was 302.1, the state capital Düsseldorf 321.7.

However, the information only offers a very incomplete picture of the infection situation, as many cases are not recorded at all. This is because many sick people do without a PCR test and their infection is therefore not included in the official statistics.
