Cologne (dpa/lnw) – An accident involving three trucks caused long traffic jams at the Cologne-Heumar motorway junction on Wednesday morning. According to the NRW traffic center, the vehicles were stuck in traffic jams for more than an hour on the A3, A4 and A59 motorways. Three trucks drove into each other in the morning, a police spokesman said. None of the drivers were injured. But because diesel ran across the road, several lanes had to be closed for hours. Police expect the closures to be lifted by 10 a.m.
