Moers (dpa / lnw) – After an attempted robbery at an amusement arcade in Moers (Wesel district), the police are looking for an unknown man. He is said to have entered the arcade on Wednesday afternoon with a knife in his hand, the police said on Thursday. Accordingly, he threatened the 64-year-old cashier and demanded cash. When the employee refused, he hit the counter with the knife and fled without taking anything. The 64-year-old was reportedly not injured.
The man is said to be around 18 to 20 years old and slim. At the time of the crime he was wearing a dark tracksuit, a black cap and a light blue surgical mask. The police are investigating and looking for witnesses.
