Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) – The North Rhine-Westphalian state government is preparing with the school authorities for the coming heating season in order to be prepared for possible gas supply bottlenecks. School minister Dorothee Feller (CDU) said on Thursday in Düsseldorf that responsibility for the school building lies with the municipal authorities. However, the state government is aware of the special importance of schools, the discussions about room temperature and is keeping an eye on developments. “As of now, the schools are among the so-called protected customers in the gas emergency plan of the Federal Ministry of Economics. And it has to stay that way.” All relevant actors are currently agreeing on the requirements.
