Aldenhoven (dpa / lnw) – Unknown people blew up an ATM in Aldenhoven in the Düren district early Tuesday morning. Then the perpetrators – probably three – fled in a car, said a police spokeswoman. It was initially unclear whether they stole money. Local residents called the police after the explosion. Windows were damaged in the bank building to which the machine belongs. The “Aachener Zeitung” had reported.
