North Rhine-Westphalia: ram runs on the highway: parcel courier helps the police

Bönen (dpa / lnw) – A parcel deliverer helped police officers catch a ram that had escaped onto the highway. The runaway spotted on Monday morning on the A2 near Bönen had previously shown “no interest in cooperation”, according to the police. The ram fled in the direction of Oberhausen – on the hard shoulder, which defused the situation somewhat. The parcel deliverer finally blocked the way for the fleeing animal. Police officers were then able to put a leash on the buck. He was first accommodated at the public order office of the city of Bönen. Where it came from and who it belongs to remains to be clarified.
