Gelsenkirchen (dpa / lnw) – After a basement fire in Gelsenkirchen, three people suspected of smoke poisoning had to be taken to hospitals. As the fire brigade announced on Tuesday night, the smoke came from burning rubbish in the basement, which was extinguished by a respiratory protection team. 34 firefighters were involved in the fire. The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
