The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, will not appear in Congress to explain the evacuation operation carried out by Spain in Afghanistan.

They consider in the Moncloa that it is the owner of the department who must give explanations and save the head of the executive to face the opposition, which has demanded these days the presence of him in the lower house.
The Congress debate this Wednesday the appearance requests of the President of the Government and ten ministers.
To try to deactivate the debate, Monday night, the Government registered the appearances at the request of Albares, Carolina Darias (Health) and Teresa Ribera (ecological transition).
They do not contemplate, for example, either that the defense minister, Margarita Robles, or the Inclusion and Migration Holder, José Luis Escrivá, key departments in Afghanistan’s evacuation operation.
