The Civil Guard has researched a 22-year-old man from Segovia as alleged author of a crime of animal abuse for killing a swan to blows with a stick in a pond of the Segovian town of Ochando.
As reported on Tuesday, the Subdelegation of the Government in Segovia through a note, the events occurred on August 19 and the Civil Guard was knowledge of them thanks to the warning of a witness.
He pointed out that he had seen some young people attack one of the swans who are usually in the area of ponds of this municipality, belonging to Santa María La Real de Nieva and located about 30 kilometers from the provincial capital.
The Civil Guard went to the place, where the authors were no longer found, to verify the veracity of the facts and collect information with the aim of undertaking the corresponding investigation.
After eye inspection and various arrangements, agents identified a 22-year-old and neighbor of Segovia as the alleged author of the facts, so they proceeded to his investigation by a crime of animal mistreatment with death and put the proceedings
