State police are investigating after five armed men stole cellphones, cash and a gun from six men and two women in a Fayette County home as they physically and sexually assaulted the victims and threatened to kill them.
The robbers hit some of the victims in the face and smashed one in the face with a gun after forcing their ilbet way into a Laurel Hill Road home in North Union early Thursday, police said.
The suspects stole a Taurus .380-caliber pistol as well as cash and the victims' cellphones.
All of the suspects, described as black males, were wearing dark clothing with dark-colored bandanas over their faces, police said.
