It’s no longer a secret that she’s expecting a child. After all, Jasmin Wagner aka Blümchen is already nine months pregnant. The gender of her baby has long been a mystery. Also for the singer herself, as she now reveals.
Singer and presenter Jasmin Wagner, also known as Blümchen, is currently looking forward to her big private highlight: the first baby. She is nine months pregnant. She seems particularly pleased that it will be a girl.
“I didn’t think it would blow my mind that we would have a daughter,” she reveals in an interview with the magazine “Bunte”. “My girl is an amazing gift.” And the child’s father-to-be, a Danish entrepreneur, was apparently also very touched by the news. Wagner says about him: “My partner and I both shed a few tears.”
Even if the question of the gender of their first child is probably of secondary importance for the two of them, Jasmin Wagner and her partner were certainly still curious. However, they took their time with solving this mystery.
“We decided beforehand that my gynecologist would write the gender on a piece of paper. It ended up in my wallet and was there for what felt like forever because we were looking for a special moment to unveil the secret. So we have it over and over postponed, friends and family were getting nervous,” remembers Wagner. At some point they even thought about “being surprised at birth”.
But then everything turned out differently. The 42-year-old surprised her boyfriend with it on his birthday. She was in the sixth month, she explains, adding: “I wrapped the note in a mini present.”
What followed was an apparently overwhelming moment for the parents-to-be. “Even if you know that it will be either one or the other and deal with it mentally, it’s even more emotional when you read it in black and white,” says Wagner.
In December 2021, the singer spoke to “Bunte” for the first time about her new love. In mid-July 2022, she then revealed to the “Bild” newspaper that she was expecting a baby.
