Since May’s firing of Dan Ventrelle, the Raiders have not had a team president. They now have a new president.
Name not known. . . For now.
According to Mick Akers, the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Raiders will announce their new president on Thursday. Davis, the owner, will introduce Mark Davis at a 1 pm PT news conference at Allegiant Stadium.
In less than one year, the third team president will be chosen.
Marc Badain, a 30 year veteran of the organization, abruptly resigned last July to surprise many. Ventrelle took his place.
Ventrelle worked for the team for almost 18 years and claimed that he was fired because he shared concerns with employees who complained about Davis’ behavior in the workplace.
