Güsten (dpa/sa) – At Güsten station (Salzlandkreis), a 35-year-old man sprayed pepper spray into the open door of a regional train. A 52-year-old, with whom the attacker had previously had an argument, was hit in such a way that he briefly lost his sight and had to be taken to a hospital for treatment, the federal police said on Thursday in Magdeburg. Four other travelers, including three children between the ages of one and five, were also exposed to the pepper spray in Wednesday’s incident. They received medical care at the train station. The federal police are investigating the 35-year-old attacker for dangerous bodily harm.
