Zwickau (dpa/sa) – Thanks to an attentive neighbor, two burglars in Zwickau failed in an attempted robbery. According to the police, the 22-year-old woman and the 35-year-old man broke into several basement compartments of a residential building early Thursday morning. The 52-year-old resident noticed their trespassing. He promptly locked the front door to the basement and locked in the burglars, the police said on Friday. A short time later, the officers arrested the woman and the man in the Nordvorstadt district. What the two wanted to steal was not initially known.
