Niederndodeleben (dpa/sa) – A 19-year-old man broke into a pharmacy in Niederndodeleben in the Börde district and stole medicines and cash. During the act on Saturday night, however, the light from his flashlight was noticed by a local resident who called the police. The perpetrator was arrested after a short escape, as the police in Haldensleben announced. The Niederndodelebener then admitted that he was also responsible for an attempted break-in into another pharmacy in the area. But the safety glass on the front door held up.
